Teachers Corner: Parents this week we will start real infractions on 9/3/2024 We will also continue to work with your scholar on rules, procedures, expectations, transitions, and opening their locker. 

Math: Students will learn how to estimate decimals and use mental math to add and subtract decimals.

Science:  Scholars will discover important details about space exploration and other elements of space like galaxies, black holes and comets.

History: This week the scholars will continue their unit on the Meso-American tribes (Maya, Inca, and Aztec). In this unit the scholars will explore the differences between these cultures and will focus primarily on the following elements of each culture: Geography, religion, Arts/accomplishments, politics, economy and social structure. 

Literature: This week scholars will be quizzed on chapters 4 & 5 of VODT, we will also begin characterization.

Upcoming Test/Quiz :

  • Math Test (Decimals): 9/5/2024
  • Science Test(Space): 9/10/2024

History: This week the scholars will be finishing their unit on the Maya, Inca, and Aztec civilizations by reviewing their study guides on Tuesday and taking the unit test on Wednesday.
